When I first bought my Pentax Q-S1, I read about using Yashica 8mm cine lenses on it. These lenses can be mounted with a D-to-PQ adapter (link below), though only with manual focus and aperture control.

I managed to find an affordable set on eBay: the 13mm f/1.4 and the 38mm f/1.5. The 13mm is particularly interesting—it has a swirly bokeh and, with a full-frame equivalent focal length of 60mm, works well for portraits. However, there is some vignetting.

Focusing at f/1.4 on the small camera display is tricky, so I usually take multiple exposures while slowly moving in, hoping one will be sharp.

This moonshot was captured using a Pentax Q-S1, a tiny 12-megapixel interchangeable lens camera released in 2014. It's almost toy-like in size, small enough to fit comfortably in your pocket. However, when paired with my 150-450mm telephoto lens (see second photo), its 4.65 crop factor results in a focal length of over 2000mm full-frame equivalent.

Trots op ons Belgisch erfgoed - Fier de notre héritage Belge. In the city of Dendermonde, Belgium there is a small steam-train museum. Run only by volunteers (most of them (ex-) train-drivers) it has 11 steam-trains, the oldest of which is Cockerill 509 (AKA Petit Chateau) dating back to 1860. If you are lucky you can make a ride with Tubize 2069, a train dating from 1927. Helena on her ride in the summer. She did active duty in the metallurgy Hoboken until 1970 after which it was restored by the museum. Never built for speed, it holds her own. At the right a biker is passe by the train.

Because there is only one switch at the end of the railway, the train always tows a diesel train. It is only used to make the way back.
