Mr Piers G<p>test export of the same timeline to a 720P H265 in "native" Avid versus emulated is about 20% faster, maybe 30 (9 mins vs 6:50). One could think that the M4 Max is the fastest and best Mac because the M4 is the newest chip but no, it's the one with the M3 Ultra.</p><p>And no update to the Mac Pro line which is basicly just a Studio with a chassis...</p><p>Go figure... 🤷🏻♂️</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PostChat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PostChat</span></a></p>
Jiří Fiala Total Landscaping<p>Finally found a way to transfer timelines between <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Resolve" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Resolve</span></a> (so, everything) and <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Avid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Avid</span></a> both ways with only linked media (original camera files) via AAF, without generating any new media files. Just copied a TB at 800MB/s so I think the network's fine.(Mac Studios, Resolve 18 and 19.
