@dee If that nude was sent without explicit consent of the reciever then that's likely the reason for the ban if said person reported it.

Personally, I would NEVER EVER rely on any #proprietary and #centralized #singleVendor / #SingleProvider #Messenger or communications solution.

Unless one has complete access to the entire Frontend and Backend, consider all claims of #E2EE to be #marketing #lies - espechally from Providers like #Telegram, @signalapp@mastodon.world, #WhatsApp and others that may fall ounder #CloudAct or other types of #Cyberfacism.

Not to mention that the very linkage of a #PhoneNumber to a #Mesenger is inherently bad and wrong since those are not only easy to track but usually not available #anonymously in every juristiction.

#Signal itself is extra #insecure as they #restrict the availability of their services and App based off the presumed geolocation as per country code.

AND NO, YOU STILL NEED A PHONE NUMBER TO USE SIGNAL!!!

Mike Johnson warns Ukraine-border deal likely ‘dead on arrival’ in House –

Democrats and Republicans in the upper chamber have been negotiating for months on an agreement to #restrict #immigration policy in a bid to keep undocumented migrants from entering the United States.

While no compromise has yet been reached, House Speaker Mike #Johnson said today that “if rumors about the contents of the draft proposal are true, it would have been 🔸dead on arrival 🔸in the House anyway.”

Johnson also said he would support the effort to #impeach Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas, who Republicans have accused of mishandling border security.
“When we return next week, by necessity, the House Homeland Security Committee will move forward with Articles of Impeachment against Secretary #Mayorkas. A vote on the floor will be held as soon as possible thereafter,” he wrote.

Impeachments of cabinet secretaries are exceedingly rare, and the Senate’s Democratic majority will almost certainly refuse to convict Mayorkas.
