Steve James<p>Following <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/plex" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>plex</span></a> recent changes to its apps, and its pricing structure, I’ve testing alternatives to manage my music library, instead of Plex/Plexamp. I’ve tried <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/applemusic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>applemusic</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/emby" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>emby</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/roon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>roon</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/navidrome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>navidrome</span></a> & <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Jellyfin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Jellyfin</span></a>. The result? There’s not one service that does *everything* I want it to. But Plex/Plexamp is still the closest, best fit. So I’m all in with a lifetime pass. But I’m not feeling confident about where Plex is headed, so <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.online/@leafmuncher" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>leafmuncher</span></a></span> please don’t fuck it up 🙏</p>
