Less than two days since macOS refused to talk to my VM and reverse when using bridged networking and it's happened yet again. It's been several times now and usually occurs when I'm not even using the Mac. Fine, fine, I'll give up. Since earlier in this thread I narrowed it down to macOS Paranoia as being the problem, then I guess I'll have to stick with macOS Catastrophe on my 2012 Mac mini because it's actually more reliable.

Aktualizacja zawiera jedynie kilka drobnych zmian.

I have a Logitech web cam that I use as the microphone for my M4 Mac mini. If I open the Sound panel I can see that it hears what I'm saying. But if I try to use it, or the iPhone 14's microphone with Continuity, with Siri or Apple Intelligence, neither works.
I guess I'll have to spend a few "productive" hours debugging yet another macOS Paranoia failure.

Once again the VM running in VMware on my M4 Mac mini has gone deaf and the host and guest refuse to communicate to each other over the network. Rebooting the Mac fixed it for a couple of days, but I don't think I can trust macOS Paranoia's bridged networking to be reliable. I mean if VMware, VirtualBox, and UTM all fail with bridged networking, I'm pointing the finger at Apple. Looks like I'll have to keep the 2012 Mac mini around because for this case it's much more reliable.

Today, I took a walk in a literal redwood rain forest five minutes from my house. Eureka, CA’s Sequoia Park, is their city park entirely within city limits. It is flat out stunning. It is humbling, restful, and energizing all at the same time.
There were kids laughing on the playground, a family setting up for a birthday celebration, teens posing for pics on a giant banana slug sculpture, and a lot of older folks simply walking and enjoying the trees… I’m saying it right now—I don’t think I’ll ever tire of the thrill of walking among trees with trunks twice as wide as my car and taller than 12-story buildings...
This helps reset my heart, you know?
I noticed that multiple running scripts in the Terminal crashed with file access errors. ChatGPT quickly pointed out it was probably macOS Paranoia's TCC (Transparency, Consent, and Control) that borked the Terminal's Full Disk Access. It was still checked but I closed all windows, quit the Terminal, toggled permissions off/on, and now everything is back to norbal*.

Aktualizacje te nie wnoszą nowości, ale zamiast tego skupiają się przede wszystkim na poprawkach błędów i uaktualnieniu zabezpieczeń.
Dodatkowo w przypadku iOS naprawiono problem, który mógł uniemożliwiać bezprzewodowe łączenie się z CarPlay w niektórych samochodach.
