Now, with another stroll, and again with the 35mm lens, as I was not satisfied with my previous stroll in the ponds (!), I've decided to head out again shooting with it on March 11th (this is 2 days after the previous stroll). I was particularly aiming for this mural (which I had plans to shoot a panorama for it but never did!). I don't know who is the artist but this painting is definitely brilliant!
Generally speaking, I do love the field of view of this lens (though the image here cropped to 16:9). This shot here was made at f/1.4 (widest aperture), but it not a big deal after all since most objects are far from the lens so more or less they are in a reasonable depth of field. I had to work a bit in post-process just to enhance colors and fix some lines (it was a gloomy day and the shot was handheld of course).

4/7: Waco Sculpture Zoo, Day 4 afternoon #Waco visit 👆

"Wise Elephant": Easily over 8ft tall (2.6m), styled after Rhodin's "The Thinker". Sitting on a bench that is conveniently wide enough with room for 1-2 people to sit beside.

I bet there are a million pictures of people sitting next to this elephant. 😀

Really need multiple pics to show the full detail, especially with the gray background.
