Kiran 🏳️‍⚧️<p><span>So with a bit more context, this is a quick Godot tutorial on setting up a tilemap with collisions and sorting that I've been kinda mulling over making. I didn't quite catch the like energy/vibe to be like super engaging, but I don't hate how I look in it at least so I think that's an ok start<br><br></span><a href="https://transfem.social/tags/Godot" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Godot</a> <a href="https://transfem.social/tags/GodotTutorial" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#GodotTutorial</a> <a href="https://transfem.social/tags/Tilemaps" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Tilemaps</a> <a href="https://transfem.social/tags/Godot4" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Godot4</a> <a href="https://transfem.social/tags/GameDev" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#GameDev</a><span><br><br>RE: </span><a href="https://transfem.social/notes/a3xzysezk5u500jq" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://transfem.social/notes/a3xzysezk5u500jq</a></p>

pedro<p>Inspired by bitsy, I am writing a 8x8 tile/sprite editor widget that works on Angular. The idea is to write several widgets and eventually create my own IDE that runs on the browser and allow people to program cute little games.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/bitsy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>bitsy</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/tilesets" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tilesets</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/tilemaps" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tilemaps</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/angular" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>angular</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/freeSoftware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>freeSoftware</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/8x8" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>8x8</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/gamedev" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gamedev</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/retrogamedev" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retrogamedev</span></a></p>
pedro<p>I updated my tileset ripper script called tilegen.py. Now it can receive several input images, which is useful if you want to create a common tileset from bits and pieces scattered through several screenshots of a 2D tile-based game. It will still create a map.json of one of the input images, but now it is the last one of the batch. It requires ImageMagick and Python 3.10.</p><p><a href="https://gitlab.com/pvmm/tilegen.py" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">gitlab.com/pvmm/tilegen.py</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/python" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>python</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/ImageMagick" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ImageMagick</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/tiled" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tiled</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/tilesets" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tilesets</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/tilemaps" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tilemaps</span></a> #</p>
