@mav.wtf this sort of thing (from before today's #HandsOff protests worldwide) shows the cracks in the facade. Their 218 member majority cannot tolerate handle more than ~4 people to vote against #USHouse #Republican bills, and the #USSenate is already not a reliable Republican bloc.

There is a #Dem member of the parliament who has been holding a speech in the #USHouse for, like, 19 hours as a filibuster. And so far so good. But it can do so because the very modern rules of the chamber allow you to speak as long as 'you can stand'
