Thanks to the great people on #XDA #Forums my old and pretty much unusable #SamsungTablet #SMT295 is now running Android 14(with #noGAPPS of course) and it's usable again!
Clearly it is not lighting fast, but compared to the slow and blown stock software it looks like so.

Jemand Erfahrung mit #eOS Flash auf einem #Samsung A52s 5G?
Mir scheint die Doku veraltet und ich scheitere schon beim finden der vbmeta.img Datei, da es sie nicht mehr zu geben scheint. Zudem wird eine Installation mit #Odin vorgeschlagen. Die Samsung Software heißt meines Wissens aber mittlerweile Heimdall. Funktioniert der Flash damit dennoch?
Dachte ich frag mal nach Hilfe, bevor ich das Smartphone zum Briefbeschwerer mache.

L'installation de LineageOS s'est bien passée, c'était plus simple que prévu. #RTFM.
En revanche, j'ai eu des galères avec l'app de ma banque (Crédit Mutuel), qui ne fonctionne pas sur les appareils rootés. Après avoir exploré le forum #xda et Reddit, j'ai découvert #Magisk. Après une réinstallation complète de LineageOS, l'ajout des "Google Play Services" via #NikGapps Core et de Magisk, tout fonctionne avec le strict minimum de Google.

Shocked and sad to see the #Android #ROM project #PE is discontinued. I've always loved using Android phones because I can try different #Opensource ROMs. Same reason I love using #Linux and #Unix systems. And I am actually trying this on my phone running another open source ROM called #Nameless. I will always remember the first try with #CM back the days when different ROMs were uploaded to #XDA every day.
