There have been lots of anarchist artists doing this since the adverts first were installed on the tube.
TFL keep altering the designs of the advert-holders, and we keep improving our methods of installing new art. :D
Just to be ckear, i was NOT involved in this one, but a group of us did similar things in the early 1990's. :D
@BillySmith @Pineywoozle Interesting... creating these things should be easy with today's software, and printing not a problem. Getting the thing up in place may a bit of a challenge, though I suspect doing this now in the full view of passengers might draw applause

HiViz vests are cheap to buy, and can be screen-printed easily with minimal equipment, so creating camouflage is simple. :D

And musk ... although it's one of the finest and most important fragrances in perfumery (only strongly diluted), pure musk is very stinky, the musk gland looks like a cut scrotum ... You can't stand the pure odour, which is almost cadaverous.
@NatureMC These are pretty ambiguous elements as you point out yourself. Overall, this piece is a bit like making a huge swastika and then writing something ambiguous that clever street art analysts get but illiterates like me don't get.

To understand the image you only need the subtitle and feel the emotion of that "ad". And Second World War most children learn at school. Should learn.
I only added the stuff about musk for others to enjoy the double meanings of his name. I know it because I once worked with perfume topics. It's not common knowledge (it's also on Wikipedia). I like to share.

At least two things. First, #Musk would tell you his gesture wasn't a Hitler salute. Second, the works "Pour Wankers" make it clear what the artist thinks of anyone who emulates Musk.
