The more I read about <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/EV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EV</span></a> hot hatches like the <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/Alpine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Alpine</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/A290" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>A290</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/ID3" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ID3</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/GTX" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GTX</span></a>, the more I realise I'd have more craic driving the cooking models fast. </p><p>Neither seem to be fast or engaging enough, and the driving experience of even "entry level" hatches are a million times better than hatches were in the 80s or 90s. </p><p>R5 is about 500kg lighter than the VW, (1.5T vs 2T) </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.ie/tags/cars" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cars</span></a></p>
