PhilI had a letter from the DVLA today saying my car tax is now £351.75.Almost a pound a day, before insurance, servicing, MOT etc & before moving an inch. Godfrey642So... I parked at Eastland (E. Melbourne) ystdy in my Yaris between another Yaris and a small Nissan. When i came back both had been replaced by whoppa SUVs leaving barely 30-40cm either side of me. Just managed to get in one one side. Im sick of SUVs. Drove today on Eastern Fwy with multiple SUVs weaving across lanes and cutting in front of me.. just bc they can. Most were driven by middle class wo/men showing off their money. Hardly a tradie in sight. Totally utterly sick of SUVs. Let's not build bigger wider parking spaces. Let's not accommodate them. I am conflicted on this tax as it appears are my friends in the legislature. I don’t think that taxing car owners is the best way to fund schools, but I do think that we should fund schools.
