Maybe tonight I'll throw them on.Also, bought a Greco GS940 <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/semihollow" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#semihollow</a> <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/shortscale" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#shortscale</a> <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/bass" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#bass</a> that I'm going to convert into a <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/fretless" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#fretless</a> <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/cello" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#cello</a>. Make it G# standard. The rest are flatwounds. .22g wound topmostDouble up courses a la <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/12string" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#12string</a> but, only the top 3. Plain (neon white) <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/DRstrings" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#DRstrings</a> +1 octave.Tailpiece & bridge rattle. I adjusted what I could. Slightly better. Replace w/ <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/Bigsby" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Bigsby</a> vibrato & <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/Schaller" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Schaller</a> bridge. File custom ridges & lube for strings. Replace nut. Tuned as: B1 - .080 E2 - .060 A2 - .046 D3 - .036 G3 - .024The tension would likely be closer to that of a longscale but, it'd still be one octave up with thinner strings. With <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/DRstrings" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#DRstrings</a>, Neons, the bottom two would be roundcore bass while the rest hexcore guitar strings. With a <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/Kahler" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Kahler</a> *vibrato* bridge / whammy bar, it'd certainly be a unique, odd in-between instrument.

I had placed a rather large, complex custom order. It wasn't correct. Mistakes happen. Person A»B»C things might not go right. Eryck Gu⸸⸸eЯaLI finally put the tapered .170 gauge <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/DAddario" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#DAddario</a> string on my <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/Ibanez" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Ibanez</a> BTB1406 <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/electricbass" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#electricbass</a> <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/contrabass" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#contrabass</a>. It's massive! Quite a workout to play. 😅I suspect the other strings are <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/DRStrings" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#DRStrings</a> Black Beauties. It's got <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/Nordstrand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Nordstrand</a> pickups and they do the job well. It's nice not having that puny guitar top string on it anymore 😝 Made a <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/realman" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#realman</a> out of this <a href="https://metalhead.club/tags/bass" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#bass</a> now!I'm okay with this one being plain and the rest coated black because it tells the world what it is. 🤣
