Great_Albums<p>Great Albums - 1970s: <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/SteveMillerBand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SteveMillerBand</span></a> – <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/FlyLikeAnEagle" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FlyLikeAnEagle</span></a> (1976). Miller’s roots in psychedelic blues were muted by this point, but his ability to channel clean Stratocaster riffs into infectious earworms made him as much a king of classic rock radio as John Fogerty. I don’t get why he does Sam Cooke as parody, but his ability to regurgitate R&amp;B and blues tropes with a simplicity akin to Haiku makes this album stand up despite the ARP synth meanderings. <br><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/GreatAlbums1970s" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GreatAlbums1970s</span></a>, <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Vinyl" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Vinyl</span></a>, <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Album" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Album</span></a>, <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Rock" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Rock</span></a></p>
