KindaABigDyl<p>Ive been thinking about making an <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/appimage" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>appimage</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> distro as a <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/sideproject" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>sideproject</span></a> <br>The idea is a nice out-of-the-box tiling experience where you do everything in userland</p><p>After making a rudimentary AppImage pkg mgr, creating a few rpms to install default configs, and pulling all nighters configuring kickstart scripts, I've managed to make a <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/liveiso" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>liveiso</span></a></p><p>Does it install properly? Does it explain the keybinds for tiling? Are there enough AppImages?<br>The answer to all of these is no, but I've made progress!</p>
