Why do the B branch trains announce "request stop for all street level stations" when I have never been on a daytime B train that hasn't stopped at every single stop through Babcock?

I've only had one operator do it, but it feels like the type 9s automate it

TIL that part of the historical Track 61 running along the South Boston Bypass is used as a test track by the #MBTA.

Never seen a train parked there before (not that I walk past it often), but tonight I got a peek at some of the new rolling stock presumably going through acceptance testing.

I haven't taken a trip with it yet, so no Real Usage, but from opening it and farting around, I can see that the really important stuff is there and it looks like a good base from which to begin.

It's written in Kotlin, too, which scores style points big time.

Very stylish, kudos to the UI design and implementation folks at the #MBTA
