TIL that part of the historical Track 61 running along the South Boston Bypass is used as a test track by the #MBTA.
Never seen a train parked there before (not that I walk past it often), but tonight I got a peek at some of the new rolling stock presumably going through acceptance testing.

I haven't taken a trip with it yet, so no Real Usage, but from opening it and farting around, I can see that the really important stuff is there and it looks like a good base from which to begin.
It's written in Kotlin, too, which scores style points big time.
