S★m V★rm★The other albums up until now feel more like <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Mustaine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Mustaine</a> was “trying” to be Megadeth—this feels like it just is. Kiko Loureiro seemed really stiff, mechanical and unimaginative up until now, but I think he finally crossed the line into interesting. Dirk on drums is obviously proper. But more importantly it just feels like they’re doing what naturally comes to them, and it seems like they’re having fun. It’s hilarious that you’ve got guys in their 60s doing proper speed metal 😂
