JDLast time I moved, Strava still offered free route planning… Or maybe I was a Strava subscriber because it was valuable?? Can’t remember.But new home means new routes, but privacy is more of a concern these days. Haven’t played with it yet, but OsmAnd has a solid take on privacy, open source, and tracker free. Seit es die Kombi gibt verwende ich <a href="https://karlsruhe-social.de/tags/Brouter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Brouter</a> Web und <a href="https://karlsruhe-social.de/tags/Umap" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Umap</a>. Unterwegs <a href="https://karlsruhe-social.de/tags/Osmand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Osmand</a> oder auf längeren Touren tatsächlich immer noch den Garmin weil da das Display dauerhaft eingeschaltet bleiben kann. Das social Zeug von Komoot kann diese Kombi natürlich nicht aber das brauche ich auch nicht.

Axel & Suse :toucan:folgendes hab ich jetz rausgefunden. die f-droid osmand~ app entspricht zwar weitgehend der pro/Plus version, die Cloud beinhaltet allerdings nur die 'Start' Variante und lässt max. 5MB an Sync zu und zwar nur Settings und Favoriten. In der app sind die tracks unter Favoriten einsortiert was mich zu der Annahme verleitet hat, dass diese auch synchronisiert werden. Die Meldung mit dem abgelaufenen Abonnement is verwirrend, da ein Teil des backups durchgeführt wird <a href="https://sueden.social/tags/osmand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#osmand</a> <a href="https://sueden.social/tags/osm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#osm</a>

Axel & Suse :toucan:Kennt sich jemand mit Osmand+ aus? Ich hab das von f-droid für android installiert, also die Plus Version. Ich würde gerne ein Osmand Cloud backup machen um die Routen auch am PC bearbeiten zu können. Als Lösungsvorschlag empfehle ich <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/brouter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#brouter</a> als Routing-Engine in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/osmand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#osmand</a> auf dem Handy zu installieren. Auf jeden Fall bessere Routen! Ich teste es gerade an Vorschlägen für Routen, die ich kenne, und die Vorschläge sind ausnahmslos entweder die umständlichsten oder Strecken durch Kruzeldörfer mit Schrottstraßen, die nun wirklich nicht den Berufsverkehr tragen können , wenn eine Bundesstraße daneben zur Verfügung steht.Kann die App das nicht, oder find ich das nur nicht?<a href="https://literatur.social/tags/deGoogle" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#deGoogle</a>
