That’s it. We are an at will state where they can fire you for anything as long as it’s not because you are part of a protected class, if Ellen’s boss doesn’t like a bill that she’s introducing Ellen’s boss can refuse to let her have any time off Monday through Friday, especially on the day that she needs to introduce her own bill.I think she’s also trying to get the time people serve in government counted towards public service for the public service student loan forgiveness in case we get to keep that. That's at least a sliver of good news in the midst of a lot of bad news.

Scott Williams 🐧OK, after a lot of back-and-forth, they finally agreed to re-process the paperwork I (properly re-) submitted in December to fix their previous Consolidation screw up. I need to fight with someone about counting 3 years of payments that I made while I was employed as a classroom teacher in a public school setting run by a contracted company. My partner is nearly finished with her loans after a new audit. Since we got married 8 years ago, we’ve been getting killed on taxes bc we have to file separately. I really hope we can stop doing that

They said it's going to take 2-5 days to fix the error. Finger crossed my loans will get forgiven this week!
