Fortunately, a kind woman gave me her leftover fries and that helped a lot. I've now moved into the anger stage and I a trying to control myself. I am tired, drained of energy. Wouldn't wish this nightmare on anyone. Edward ChampionUpdate: Made it through TSA. They were incredibly kind and one officer even laughed at one of my jokes. Looks like I'll be able to fly back to NYC without any problem. A friend is picking me up at the airport. And I've got other friends looking out for me. Thanks again to everyone who has gone above and beyond to make sure that I'm okay. Edward ChampionAlright, I was able to get SOME sleep -- even though I am very worried about whether or not I will be allowed to get on the flight home without an ID. I have the bus fare. I have filed a police report and remembered quite a few details. I even wrote 700 words of fiction last night based on the incident and that helped me a great deal to get to sleep. I think I may have a novel here. Anyway, fingers crossed!
