What is a good, full image backup that will run on Windows and Debian-based Linux? My current thought is that I will turn my machine fully into a Linux Mint one with no Dual boot. But. I still want a 100% backup of my current machine in case I fuck things up. Something that I can load and it will fully replace my "C:" / "/sda1" with what is saved.Like, I install Linux Mint, and something isn't working right. A music collection may not seem important but I'm an old fart and a lot of my collection started life on vinyl or CDs that I no longer have. Replacing it from scratch would take hours of ripping CDs and cost money and time buying digital copies. Now imagine something similar happening to your data.Fortunately years of working in various IT support roles has shown me the importance of backing up data.
