I ran my Folklore Bestiary (<a href="https://www.themerrymushmen.com/product/a-folklore-bestiary-for-old-school-essentials-tmm/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">themerrymushmen.com/product/a-</span><span class="invisible">folklore-bestiary-for-old-school-essentials-tmm/</span></a>) game, Lou Pétassou, with Cairn. The random pre-gens were great, full of hooks for players, and my group took full advantage and were all excellent throughout. Such a pleasure to run a game for them. </p><p>I came home and slept for 11 hours. Two days later and I'm still not really over it. Well, I guess I know my CFS/ME limit now.</p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/ttrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ttrpg</span></a> <br><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/2025Games" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>2025Games</span></a></p>

Cairn (<a href="https://dice.camp/tags/YochaiGal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>YochaiGal</span></a>)</p><p>Four players and eight characters split between four scenes, the galley and captain's cabin of a pirate ship, a swanky restaurant and a chase through sodden streets. It's all fun and games in Salthaven until someone gets walloped in the gut and left for dead (but with 3 bonus HP). Great, hectic!, fun.</p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/ttrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ttrpg</span></a><br><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/2024Games" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>2024Games</span></a></p>

It's only seven pages but there's a lot of play in it and the PCs are getting stuck into the seedy underbelly of the town. There's a lot of room GM improv which is what I like so we're all having a good time.</p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/ttrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ttrpg</span></a><br><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/2024Games" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>2024Games</span></a></p>

Cairn (<a href="https://dice.camp/tags/YochaiGal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>YochaiGal</span></a>)</p><p>Most of the Sunday group where away so I ran this as with two players. It's a simple OSR game with brutal combat but an expectation that it can be avoided through careful play. And that's exactly what happened when in Rise of the Blood Olms. I'd certainly run it again. It's story focussed experience system deserve a longer run.</p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/ttrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ttrpg</span></a><br><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/2024Games" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>2024Games</span></a></p>
