thedoctorI decided to try and use <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/cosmicde" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#cosmicde</a> for daily work for a bit and see how I get on. The first thing I had to work around was SSH key management but that wasn't too big of an issue. Not sure if I'll stick with using workspaces, though. It's a bit of a hassle to manage so many different ways to switch between applications.

Nice, to see that they fixed that issue. <a href="https://mastodon.nu/tags/Cosmic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Cosmic</a> is making good progress and is now quite usable. Now, on my hardware and with my setup, it is mostly minor (but still very important) things like Alt-Tab functionality, and similar things that drives me back to gnome. So, unexpectedly good for Alpha software. Looking forward to trying the next relese of the <a href="https://mastodon.nu/tags/cosmicde" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#cosmicde</a>.

Scott Williams 🐧No more broken services on startup now and startup is crazy fast, even from sdcard.Notifications now make noise and pop up, but still can't get any Cosmic specific apps to launch, even though they did on the Pi400, so I continue to think this is rpi5 GPU firmware specific.That said, I can still install and launch other things.
