Wintermute_BBS<p>I've just moved <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/WintermuteBBS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WintermuteBBS</span></a> (the <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> based one I run since 2009, the other one is the infamous "RC-BOX BBS" which is the <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Z80" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Z80</span></a> based one) from a soulless x86 vm somewhere in the cloud to an old <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/RaspberryPi3" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RaspberryPi3</span></a> B+ at home, in the living room shelf more or less next to <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/rc2014bbs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>rc2014bbs</span></a>. The natural habitat of any good <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/bbs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>bbs</span></a> I guess.</p><p>The move went rather well, I had to recompile the binaries to get <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/arm64" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>arm64</span></a> ones and migrate the existing userbase. No data lost, <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/DOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DOS</span></a> doorgames work but they take a little longer to load. I also fixed the <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/rss" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>rss</span></a> newsfeeds and checked the <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/echomail" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>echomail</span></a> connectivity.</p><p>If you want to connect, check my profile and watch out for the "Wintermute BBS" address.</p>
