The Streets of MelbourneThis warehouse office space has been transformed by the talented and may I say accomplished artist Melanie Caple, with a stunning mural, including <a href="https://aus.social/tags/flora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#flora</a> and <a href="https://aus.social/tags/birdlife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#birdlife</a>. This beauty measures 12 x 6.5 metres in size and is just amazing! The Streets of Melbourne<a href="https://aus.social/tags/JustineMillsom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#JustineMillsom</a> is <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Juzpop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Juzpop</a>!<a href="https://aus.social/tags/Melbourne" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Melbourne</a>-based artist Juzpop has created a new piece of street art - and I just love it! It is titled; “Inner Demons”. The <a href="https://aus.social/tags/realism" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#realism</a> of this, is superb. What’s most striking for me is the neon pink demons that overlay the woman’s face. For mine, it signifies that we all battle with our demons. Of course. However, opposed to being portrayed in ominous darker colours (blacks / greys)… SOME demons - these represented in pink, exist for a ‘greater’ experiential purpose. That is, for the sole purpose of providing an opportunity for positive and beneficial, life-defining personal growth. The Streets of MelbourneJust look at this cute mural created by Melbourne’s own, artist <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Juzpop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Juzpop</a>.It features on a feature wall, opposite the bar in the city’s <a href="https://aus.social/tags/herosmelbourne" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#herosmelbourne</a> and was painted June last year. I love the fem strength and sass of this woman featured. So too the gorgeous flowers and foliage that sits around the main feature. And OMG, glad I went to have a sticky-beak!! Such <a href="https://aus.social/tags/feminine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#feminine</a> elegance forming here. Accompanied, I think, by leaves; perhaps some roses and plenty of <a href="https://aus.social/tags/fem" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#fem</a> <a href="https://aus.social/tags/love" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#love</a>!! I’d suggest this gorgeous piece is about halfway complete and the detail (face, neck, arms, fingers, surrounding scene etc) will take the longest to complete; will be painstaking. Just guessing. I can see this coming along beautifully, with shading and more depth to come. This will look absolutely breathtaking once complete. Justine, the creator of this emerging masterpiece took a little time out to chat.
