Does the City value active transportation or is it lip service ‘when the budget allows it’? The pathway to the mall is impassable. Pathways are important shortcuts and safe ways to get to places and bus stops for those who don’t own cars. Pete Anderson 🚲<p>Pretty annoyed that the NCC is reducing the number of hours the Kitigan Zībī Mikan will be open for people outside of cars this summer. </p><p>Afternoon rides to Remic Rapids with my eldest were a highlight of last summer. Now it will be given over to drivers at noon.</p><p>The MUPs are overcapacity during the warm months, this will increase conflict between people walking, running and biking. JustG<p>An under-appreciated life skill I’ve been getting better at is judging the amount of groceries in my cart that will fit in our little trolley dolly we use for grocery shopping. Metro is ~900 m away and it’s far enough you can’t really wing it.
