Thumosaurus Rex<p>Thumos - the Greek concept of the "seat of life" and the energy that fills a person. It's the drive, the juice to action, and the thing that makes the blood surge in your veins. Distinct from other components of the soul, you can talk to it, tell it to endure, be strong, or be young. The Greeks saw thumos as serving several interrelated functions and the Romans equated it with manliness. <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/GreekPhilosophy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GreekPhilosophy</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Thumos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Thumos</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Manliness" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Manliness</span></a></p>
