I'm gonna go out on a limb here to posit that a lot of the people who said "Luke would never do that" in #TheLastJedi haven't lived long enough to watch everything they believed to be good and true turn to ash #StarWars

I just didn’t like that they turned him into an angry old man. He might as well have been yelling at kids to keep off his grass.

@DrOtto I remember discussing with a friend that Luke was a “fallen idealist” in that movie … that behavior when something you believe with all your heart falls short
