Musk and AfD leader Weidel distort historical facts in conversation on X: 'Nazis were actually socialists'
Untruths and distortions of facts dominated the conversation with AfD leader Weidel. "Finally, a normal conversation without being interrupted or framed."
Elon Musk took his endorsement of Germany's far-right party to the next level. He started with a blatant untruth: "Alice Weidel is the leading candidate to lead Germany," he announced. Some 210,000 people listened to a chaotic conversation about energy, migration, crime, war, and life on Mars.

Musk was surprised that the AfD was associated with the far right and neo-Nazis in the German media because the party does not strike him as 'extremist'.
Weidel: "The Nazis were actually socialists. Hitler was a communist, but he presented himself as a socialist."
Like Musk, she advocates freedom of speech without borders and an unbridled growth of wealth and assets. She also believes that Germany's 'ridiculously high' taxes must be abolished. According to Weidel, our eastern neighbours urgently need a strong leader.

@marc_veld I’ve got Germany allying to Russia on my 2025 BingoCard
@marc_veld
Sure, and Weidel is one of the idiots who rides on a sea horse into her office, you know it's a horse because its called a "horse" right there in the name.
Calling myself something does not make me automatically said thing.
And #Naziboy would complain about regulation, he who is incapable to fire employees in a legally correct way even by US standards. So yes I can see how a system where he is even expressed minimally to consequences for his idiotic behaviour is bad.
