Sometimes I get to wondering where people’s online handles come from.
Some are obvious while others are a bit more curious, like @adactio or @davatron5000

@jimniels I started in the 90s with "madbrain" and even had the .de-domain for that. At some point I thought it might be a good idea to change that, if I want people to take me at least a little bit seriously.
