Anthony Stevens 🇪🇺 🇯🇲 💙

In 2018, was apoplectic with rage at the thought of Billionaire George Soros interfering in politics using political donations.

Fast forward 6 years, & Nazi Nige the grifter is in the negotiating with Billionaire Elon to interfere in British politics with a £100m donation to . 🤷🏾‍♂️

The two faced stench of tobacco, sleaze & beer are never far away with this steaming lump of dog shit...

@AnthonyFStevens Those may look like very similar situations on the surface, but they're really not. As loathsome as he is, Musk is just a person whereas Soros is an alt-right dogwhistle for The Jews.

@AnthonyFStevens I'm not sure who said it first, and English not being my native tongue, I'll probably butcher it by paraphrasing but here goes anyway:

"If you see the right-wing-facists complaining about something, you know what their next move will be."

@hvangalen

I think the quote is

"If you see right-wing fascists complaining about something, you can expect them to oppose it."

But what you say is absolutely spot on. They always build a narrative of hate, before their political onslaught to oppose the object of their ire.

Live picture of human feces with necktie.

@AnthonyFStevens For once, we may have a party in power that is less able to raise money than their rivals. I wonder if that's the route to getting good campaign finance regulations (with teeth: automatic bi-election for any candidate who is found to have violated them and a requirement to pay 150% of the illegally raised money as tax).

@david_chisnall

As we saw with , there are ways to circumnavigate campaign finance laws, especially if the government in power is the beneficiary & crooked. I say this with Doris Johnson refusing to release the full interference report.

IIRC, has an registered subsidiary, through which could channel funds into politics quite easily. Tightening up the laws won't be easy, but looking at what's just happened in , can you imagine a Nigel PM?
