Is there anything Starmer can’t mess up?
All he had to do was say ‘nice beaver‘ and sign on the line …
No 10 blocks beaver release plan as officials view it as ’Tory legacy’ https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2025/jan/14/no-10-blocks-beaver-release-plan-tory-legacy?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
Good Grief politicians are PATHETIC
@BashStKid Maybe David Archer is a pal of Starmer's?
I hadn't realised that wild releases were being considered. A well timed storyline from #theArchers
@Malwen The article is better than most, and does cover the responses from the NFFN and National Trust, not just the NFU. I don’t know the details, but I had a vague idea this was going to be linked to the NT’s push to reconnect habitats.
@Malwen @BashStKid Perhaps we can get a cameo appearance from Mr Starmer on a visit to the rewilding project?
@MikeFromLFE @Malwen He really doesn’t have a voice for radio.
@BashStKid @Malwen Neith does Joy, but she's got a part in the series
@MikeFromLFE @Malwen Oooh, definitely an unpopular opinion. I think trading Shula to Sunderland in return for Joy is a pretty good trade.
@BashStKid @MikeFromLFE @Malwen
Quite frankly trading Shula for anyone would be a good deal.
#theArchers
@BashStKid So this is cancelled because it's a "Tory Legacy", but continued austerity isn't? I'm asking for a friend.
