@Susan_Larson_TN I’m not sure I associate Britpop with “machismo” (who are we talking about aside from Oasis?) but I did love this song and the majority of Placebo’s albums. Molko’s outness was unusual back then and I really appreciated it
@encyclops @Susan_Larson_TN oh it really was. The whole era was a wash with toxic masculinity and misogyny. Not a sixth form common room in the country where there wasn't a stack of FHM and Loaded magazines.
