There were rare anti-#Hamas protests in the north of #Gaza a day or two ago. They demanded to live in peace.
I do sympathize with them. No human being can endure the agony that they experienced. I have no right whatsoever to demand that they resist more.
But I want to respond to those who try to portray this as if it was a vindication for #Israel.
Vindicating Israel would be like saying that a confession obtained under extreme torture is legit.
This is called subjugation. And it's pure evil.

Sadly, many people in the West believe in the subjugation logic. I recall when I discussed with anglophones in Canada the matter of Quebec's sovereignty. They used to say "well, they lost the war". As if a war's outcome determines what is right and what is wrong.
@gee8sh @PatrickoftheG That is, in fact, the way I was raised to think. By my actual parents. There was quite a bit of double-think as well, so we could go on thinking we were good people. Thankfully I unpacked that. They did not.
I guess we all grew out of things we took for granted that we learned from our parents. I can certainly relate. It's a good thing we're equipped with the ability to think critically. Thanks for your comment!
