In a working democracy, employers would have practically no power.
Think about it:
One person, one vote.
Employers are outnumbered by employees.
And if we're looking at the economy, that's the employees as well.
Consumers make the market go round, and employees produce the products.
Employers are a tiny ineffectual part, and society should not give much of a damn about them.
