Messages posting about quad-demic are doing the rounds. Very unhelpful clickbait. There is not a single pandemic, let alone four at the same time. At best there can be infection waves close together or coinciding. Names as "COVIFLU" also don´t make sense.

Any of such terms of claims are untrue and identify accounts and writers using clickbait and a lack of scientific understanding.
Annual infection waves are the norm. If the wave is high, and it is generally geographically contained, it may be an epidemic. There is one in some places: influenza.

Calling this a "pandemic" is pure term-inflation, it erodes trust in public health and science. When a real pandemic hits, will people take it seriously? Sensationalism might boost clicks and advertisement income today, but it may cost lives in the future.
