If you’re annoyed by those floaty prompts on websites to sign into them with your Google Account, you can turn them off for your Google account! Link: https://myaccount.google.com/u/0/permissions
@rmondello oh wow i hate those! thanks!
@liaizon @rmondello is it just going to sign us in automatically? What if we don’t want to sign in?
@ayo @rmondello no its just these popups on a bunch of sites that offer you a "tip" that the site offers one click google signin
@liaizon @ayo @rmondello Which mean you need to have a Google account in other for them not to track you...
@hypolite @liaizon @narF @rmondello @ayo I have a fresh launch of DDG mobile browser, cookies wiped, not signed in, and I see it all the time.
@hypolite for example. Every site that has this is cursed. I’ve tried with piHole as well without any luck.
@hypolite I have one. But signing into Google every time I launch a browser is a hard no from me. Wiping cookies on close is a hill I’ll die on.
@hypolite this is just some google/meta product manager fantasy for how the internet should work. First force sign in when using chrome, then harass the whole internet until everyone does it. By 2025 I’ll probably get a call from a google ad rep every time I load a site without being signed in.
