Cycling to work and a swim in the lake on the way. Air 3°C, water ~3°C.
The roads are icy today. I realised it moments before I hit the ground hard.

Die Strassen sind glatt heute. Merkte es wenige Augenblicke bevor ich hart auf dem Boden aufschlug.

I haven't used lately eg spikes because there are only few days when they are really needed. So I think all other days it's just an extra effort to cycle.
But I might actually equip a spare bicycle we have with winter tyres that I can use on the icy days. Let's see.
