@mpowney A #CapturedDuopolyGovernment doesn't govern for the citizens. There are plenty of examples out there if you care to look.

@drrimmer Going to call it RN, this COP will be no different to any of the others in that nothing substantial will come from it. The #CapturedDuopolyGovernment already have their orders from their masters (the fossil fuel companies) and the orders are give us more, more, more.

@Alpha1Nine There's plenty of gas around. The gas companies don't want you to have it though because it's not profitable to sell it to you.

@Gracchus Finally, finally those in power starting to call this out. It really highlights that our system of politics, which is essentially an us vs them approach, just isn't fit for purpose in modern day Australia. I'm sure neither side of the #CapturedDuopolyGovernment (and especially their masters profiting so much off this current system) would willingly give up power to try a new system of goverment, so the best we can hope for now is to #BreakTheDuopoly by voting Greens and Indies.
