Today is a good day to spot unserious people.

Yesterday, demanding that #Democrats filibuster the #Republican #ContinuingResolution could be motivated by one of two opposite reasons: 1) pressure the party to unite behind a single tactic; 2) amplify division over the tactics.

Now that the filibuster didn't happen, ripping into Democrats who refused to do it can only be motivated by reason #2. These are not serious people.

Serious people are moving on to the next opportunity to unite us.

He then forced the House to break and end their session of Congress, which limited the #senate to accept the CR or let the government shut down. Budgets need to be #bipartisanlegislation. Furthermore, #TrumpLies and #muskrat have illegally #impounded funds approved by #congress, showing that budgets need to be enforced or Congress is a #powerlessshell. The #goptraitors has signaled for the last two months that they have no interest in protecting their co-equality as a branch of government. If #democratsawol give up their last position of #power, Congress will be #beholden to the Executive Branch. They will have #surrendered their #constitutional responsibility to act as a backstop to #executiveoverreach. Call your Senators to hold them #accountable to the people.
