I really wanted to frame someone being watched by the sloth and the owl as they passed by. The motion blur was a necessity given the ambient light but I quite like the effect. I wish I had stopped down further to get a sharper image.

I really enjoy shooting with the Rolleiflex TLR, it's a magical experience. I am too caught up in the vibes to focus on the mechanics like closing the film counter window.
Good thing we're going for vibes and happy accidents!

Same day but I did not advance the film so ended up with an unintended double exposure. It's a "creative fail"/"happy accident" that both scenes contain the same elements (dog and kid) but in very different configuration.

It was an overcast but still warm day, the color cast captures that nicely.

@carusb @tapasinthesun yeah definitely understand, that it is more work and needs to fit into your workflow.
I use Vuescan to get the negative image as a DNG and go directly into Darktable/Ansel after that. Looks like I'm the only one using an ancient scanner so all the #EpsonV500 posts are my scans following this process , take a look. It's mostly B&W but I'll be developing color at home next week
so there will be more color examples soon.
I'm a fan of FOSS tools, happy to answer questions.
In December, I was in New York and went on a pilgrimage to the B&H Photo Video store and it was... AWESOME!
I got to meet a lot of nice people and they were generous and excited to have their portraits taken. It was a wonderful afternoon, I picked up a bunch of film, got to check out printer paper in person, and geeked out about my 1935 Rolleiflex. 100% would recommend!

After getting the mirror replaced [1] and with all the wind in my sails, I shot another roll with the LM for #FP4Party. The viewing lens focus was tack sharp, whatever broke the mirror also caused misalignment between the taking and viewing lenses . Please share any repair guides/suggestions.
I was pretty excited about some of the shots, pretend they're not blurry, ok?

Well it has been a bit of a misadventure between the mirror being cracked making composing difficult, not knowing how much to advance the film due to the non-resetting film counter, and not having a good way to scan, but an adventure nonetheless. Thanks for the motivation to try something new #FP4Party!

I did not make the Photo-flo solution strong enough, see the spots. Easy fix, just rewashed the film and it seems to be drying nicely. I'm the least satisfied with the scanning and can't seem to dial the focus in auto or manual, might be a scanner limitation.
Overall, I'm quite excited to be able to do the whole process myself. Onto C41 color after a few more rolls to build more experience.

I don't /need/ coffee to function but I do enjoy my espresso/flat-white morning ritual.
Experimenting with scanning (still waiting on negative holders) and developing.
The splash was epic and even though I missed the decisive moment not knowing it was liberating. I could focus on enjoying the moment, sharing laughter at puddle water all over my friend's shorts and IN his mouth.
I'm sticking with just using Negadoctor for all exposure/color adjustments (Darktable/Ansel is an amazing FOSS project). Improving scan quality will be a process... tips welcome!
Well, when you calm down and pay attention the options are easy to figure out. Here's an edit done in Ansel with Negadoctor with the classic white border. I think this edit better captures how I wanted the lab to process the photo.
What are appropriate film hashtags? How many are too many?
