I thought #google had "fixed" that #GulfOfMexico bologna, only parenthetically listing the *wrong* name. Now if you start typing "Gulf of Mexico" the search window auto-populates to "Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)," but the map only has the spurious name.

I know one Trump Tactic has been to overwhelm us with crap that is annoying but largely unimportant so we wear ourselves out too much to complain about or notice the really important shit, but damn if it's not working.
