The Information Retrieval Research Journal #IRRJ was founded after Springer discontinued the Information Retrieval journal. The founding editors of Springer's journal are in #IRRJ's advisory board. Unlike Springer's journal, #IRRJ is run completely by the IR community. We're open access and we do not have article processing charges.
