I got a list from the #HSE of 9 dentists in #Waterford subscribed to the #MedicalCard scheme. Of those 1 has left the scheme. 1 has closed their books. The rest have no appointments available until March, April, May, June or September.
No dentist can legally take a med card kid under 16, the emergency service does NOT count crying in pain as an emergency btw. Unless you can afford private there is ZERO dental provision for kids in Waterford #deise #mastodaoine

I was able to phone the HSE this morning and the lovely lady gave me a list of dentists I can call around though not all will be taking new patients on. There are 9 dentists for all the medical card patients in Waterford. Also none of them will see kids on the med card, there is no provision for the under 16s in Waterford. #mastodaoine #deise #hse
