Good morning and happy Thursday!

Mrs was out with MDMRNia until almost 10 pm last night as they went to see Wicked on Broadway and didn't get into town until then.

So, me and MDMRN Twin 1 ended up watching Sailor Moon R: The Movie last night.

Good morning! Wishing you all a beautiful day filled with sunshine, love, laughter, high energy and positivity
! Not sure what the plans for the day are other than receiving groceries. With any luck, today will be better than yesterday and we’ll be able to get out to do a couple things. I really want to get down to the nearby Play It Again Sports and see what the rowing machines and elliptical machines are like and possibly get one or both bought. I really want a captain’s chair as well or something similar to work the abs. Wish us luck!

Guten Morgen,

Nach wie vor schützen bei vielen Geräten und Diensten Passwörter den Zugang zu deinem Account oder deinen Daten. Doch Passwörter sind eigentlich denkbar ungeeignet. Computer sind viel besser darin, komplizierte Passwörter zu erraten, als Menschen darin, sie sich zu merken. Das geht mittels Brute-Force oder Wörterbuch Angriffen und steigender Rechenleistung immer schneller. Auch bei Phishing oder Einbrüchen in Server können deine Zugangsdaten gestohlen werden.
Mit Passkeys steht ein Nachfolger für Passwörter bereit, der die Zugänge nicht nur komfortable ermöglichen soll, sondern auch vor Man-in-the-Middle Angriffen und Phishing schützen. Der Clou an Passkeys ist, dass in den Passkeys die Domain des Dienstes mit integriert ist. D.h. wenn du einen Account bei example.com hast und eine Phishingmail dich auf axemple.com leiter, wird dein Passkey gar nicht übermittelt. Denn er passt nicht zu der Domain, für die er erstellt wurde.
Die großen Betriebssystemhersteller haben Passkeys integriert und wollen sie über ihre Cloud synchronisieren. Das ist je nach Konzept ein Problem. Sind die Passkeys nicht Ende-zu-Ende verschlüsselt, könnte Google oder Microsoft diese mitlesen bzw. würden Angreifer*innen in die Hände fallen, falls Lücken in diesen Diensten gefunden werden. Daher kann es je nach Misstrauen gegenüber den großen Technikkonzernen sinnvoll sein auf eine offene alternative wie KeePassXC zu setzen. Seit einigen Versionen unterstützt das OpenSource Programm auch Passkeys und kann diese über das Browserplugin zur Anmeldung an Webdiensten bereitstellen. Ganz sicher sind Passkeys auch auf Hardwaretokens. Von denen kann man aber kein Backup machen.
Wie bei 2FA solltest du prüfen, ob zwei Passkeys bei einem Dienst hinterlegt werden können oder wie der Prozess zur Wiederherstellung aussieht, wenn du deinen Passkey verlierst.
Nimm den heutigen Tag als Anlass und konfiguriere bei deinen Accounts Passkeys.

Good morning you lovely lot 💕 I was cleaning Jadie's cage earlier and saw a subtle movement under the tray and jumped with fright as I thought it was a mouse, only to find it was my own slippered foot that I had wiggled...if you're wondering how my day is going 😂 I had the briefest of cuddles with a very hungry Ziggy who was saying "Come! Come!" the moment I took her out of her cage. She did give me a very brief preen, but food was her main focus. She is now tucked up under her preening arch as full as a tick, grumbling away with contentment.

Fresh chop to make this morning and I need to get some chickpeas soaking so I can cook them over the weekend and make parrot hummus. Then I will be working on the most recent Kids' drawing crochet toy order and watching Ghosts again probably 😊
