Wow, 10m is hopping from eastern US to Europe this morning. My family Technician (soon-to-be General!) #HamRadio operator just logged 10 SSB DX calls in the CQ World Wide WPX Contest all in the 28.3-28.5MHz Technician band, including his longest DX yet. 
Great news, Pride Radio Network users! Wires-X is back online! It turns out a dang rodent chewed up the power cable that fed power into the PC that handled Wires-X. I restored the power cable and everything is working again.
It seems the #ARRL is very interested in my membership since I let it lapse after 20+ years. Now they are offering me "a free gift" and a chance to enter a sweepstakes if I renew! 
wow, just found out that in #Australia they have #UHF #CB. i've watched videoes on youtube and people are very active on the radio there. i wish there is a similar service here in #Italy where people are very active on the radio and you can just talk to anyone. now, when i get a chance to visit there in the future, first thing i'll buy after ariving is a UHB CB Radio. :-)

This is a shorting bar that grounds utility 240VAC aerial cables to the ground. Spare operator required per use.
It also acts as an adjustable, rotary V dipole, based on two alix telescopic verticals.
It should be extensible, but we never used it beyond 10m so far. Based on an idea by @yo9lig

Iroquois is not that far from Ottawa so I might take a drive down. I used to regularly go before COVID hit.
I need a good power supply that provides at least 25A continuous. Anyone know the continuous amp rating for the Jesverty SPS-30II? All I see are specifications that say it is 30A maximum. #hamradio
