I saw a person with a Taiwan en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korfball jacket and then a person with a Hong Kong Korfball T-shirt and kid said that, oh yeah, those people spoke at school today.
It's a Dutch basketball-like game, and apparently in addition to the Netherlands there are players in at least Taiwan and Hong Kong.

The new #korfball season starts for me this week for #Mavericks second team, down in division 2 for the first time in a few years. Didn't make sense for us to stay up there, and D2 has a lot more variety of teams. Pray for my ankles. And the rest.

The tenth #MavsMania #korfball tournament took place yesterday. A slightly lower-key event than in previous years, maybe due to a later date than usual, but it went pretty well.
The evening's festivities seemed to struggle in the face of everyone being utterly knackered. I don't know if it was humidity or something, but I certainly felt like I was way more tired than I usually am; admittedly, the #korf4 format can feel like a day of intermittent shuttle-run training.
Well the usual hard work of a day of #korfball on the beach at St Andrews (sadly no Vangelis soundtrack though) followed by a day in Dundee doing similar with less sand. Eurovision provided a predictable but tedious result inbetween, and now I'm sitting down for a day or three.
