is been a while, i think since shot some photos again, and i took the chance of a backdrop that was setup by my friend.
We met a good friend for a couple of pints in our little village yesterday afternoon, and on the way home I caught this image on our road. I admit to having Mark stop and wait so I could get her/him with their head down. I just loved the framing. And it’s a new horse to us; neighbors down the road in the other direction have rescue horses but we’ve never seen a horse in this field before. Happy Saturday!

Three wise birds.
I found a way down to the pond across the way. I tried to get closer to the birds down there, but alas the birds turned out to be pretty shy and most left the pond as I got closer. I felt like I was intruding, which in fact, I was. There were three great egrets (Ardea alba) at the pond and they all flew to the top of a pine tree. The ducks remained for a while, but as I approached closer to the far end of the pond, they started leaving as well. Ony the lesser yellowlegs stayed at the pond but they moved to the opposite side of the pond from where I was.

Anyone know anywhere worth recommending that develops color film and sends you back your negatives? I don’t wanna risk the Walgreens route.
Illinois-northwest suburbs or mail in ones would probably be preferred.

Heute wird definitiv kein #SilentSunday, sondern es wird heiß hergehen. Es ist 30 Grad und bei uns im Ort findet ein großer Hofflohmarkt bzw #GarageSale mit über 100 teilnehmenden Haushalten statt.
Deshalb erst einmal ein Eiskaffee

Het lijkt hier wel herfst... maar de pruimenboom bewijst dat het toch echt lente is.
Lastig fotograferen met die zwiepende takken... handen stilhouden is ook een kunst in de stormwind...
