If you get a #prostateCancer diagnosis I strongly recommend you get a medical #oncologist on your care team and do not try to use your #urologist in that role. Urologists are fine but they aren’t cancer experts. Get the best team you can. I did after a misstep and it was the best decision I made

A group of urologists have come together to urge everyone to get a COVID-19 vaccine, at least to preserve erections.
The video begins with men fondly recalling their first erections, then presents a sobering statistic: men who've had COVID-19 are up to six times more likely to experience erectile dysfunction.
The figure comes from a study of 100 men in Italy, which found a correlation between the viral illness and penis problems. The estimated risk of ED for men with a history of COVID-19 was actually closer to 5.5 times higher than normal, and it was a relatively small study.

Being the victim of #chronicUTI is not funny.
I've gotten the symptoms at least twice every week for the last three years. It's painful and emotionally draining. I've had to cancel multiple dates with my friends and I've spent the majority of the time worrying if the cold is gonna set off the symptoms once more. I feel like I can't step out of the house. I can't get a job.
I'm constantly drinking so much water, that I'm getting nauseous from it.
I just want my old life back, before my first #UTI.
I'm so fed up with all of it.
Finally I've built up the courage to make an appointment with a #urologist and I'm praying to the universe that they'll help me get rid of this #chronicpain.

@uroweb I wish more #ProstateCancer patients were talking about #ActiveSurveillance When I was diagnosed with #Gleason6 at 59 years in November 2006 my #Urologist had ONE Other man Just Watching! #MRI guided Biopsy in April 2019 showed NO CANCER so #CancerRegression is also of interest. I live in Tampa and my Urologist is with #USFMorsani
