I'd like to know how/if I can filter out unwanted emails and only get the desired emails when transferring from outlook.

If my account has a lot of emails, i wish i know that i can just sync the latest 30 days of emails instead of synching the whole inbox
@thunderbird I find e2e encryption very hard and difficult. Detailed explanation would help!
It needs to highlight the drawbacks of open-pgp:
- subject remains in clear text
- certificate renew fatigue
- emails are not searchable
- the recipient must have is own key
- (maybe) you can't forward emails
- ecc

Difference between IMAP and POP.
As far as I remember, this is the very first decision you have to take when you start from scratch with thunderbird.
And a beginner doesn't necessarily know about this difference.
@thunderbird The first few hours /days with new software is always the fight of finding how to turn off options that are default enabled and the setting that make software good. As example with 115 where threading, something you want to turn off asap. Threading make messages disapear under the ground to say it that way.
